What is the course about?

 

This course is open due to popular demand from many people who like traveling  toThailand and wish  to arm themselves with some basic Thai to help grasp some basic phrases.This course is designed as an easy to learn, fun and interactive introduction to the Thai language. It's ideal for Beginners, people who want to live in Thailand or travel around the country.

 

The course focuses on day-to-day conversational topics and building a good fundamental understanding of the language. You'll develop a solid foundation in Thai through speaking and using the language, instead of spending weeks on learning grammar rules and the alphabet.( no writing in Thai but writing the phrases )

 

By taking this course you'll be able to pierce through that invisible veil that exists between foreigners and Thais, and start speaking with the locals in their language, therefore developing much deeper relationships and experiences.

Your confidence when dealing with things in Thailand will grow, while your image in the eyes of the Thai people will rise immensely as you'll set yourself apart from being "just another foreigner".

 

What will we cover ?

 

The course uses interactive activities, and follows a structured and easy to use pattern. At the end of most lessons, there's a review part where you're able to practice and repeat what you've learned in that lesson.

 

I highly encourage you to repeat words, phrases and sentences after me, your learning process will be much faster as your muscle memory develops through pronunciation and as you internalize how Thai sounds like, its melodic structure and its easy grammar.

 

After completing the Intensive Thai For Beginners course you will be able to communicate in practical, day-to-day situations in Thailand and develop a natural understanding of the language.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Method The course is taught in English and Thai with coverage of the three skills of speaking, listening and reading ( you will read only phrases)  and a balance between communicative activities, structure practice and grammar.The emphasis is put on speaking ,listening and reading. Please note, students are expected to participate in oral classroom activities and to do some homework.

Do I need to check my level before I enrol?

What feedback will I get?

You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
